At Quantum Cosmetic Pigments, our permanent makeup pigments are proudly made using only the HIGHEST QUALITY INGREDIENTS (https://quantumpmucolors.eu/ingredient-info/). Because we know our inks and their ingredients meet high-quality standards, we offer our customers and their clients full transparency about what is in our products. If you are in the market for permanent cosmetic tattoo ink and want to make sure that you provide your clients the absolute best results, here are a few points to consider:
WHAT TYPES OF PIGMENTS ARE IN YOUR PRODUCTS?
A statement that you will see repeated across our website is that “We use natural pigments, sourced from the earth. None of our pigments ever come from animals.” One added benefit of this is that our PMU colors are vegan and cruelty-free. In addition, the organic pigments that we use are known to provide brighter colors. Our oil dispersable organic pigments blend better with the skin and have less tendency to clump. The benefit of this is that they work well for a variety of uses, from natural-looking lip and areola applications to beautiful brows.
MANY PERMANENT MAKEUP INKS ARE NOT VEGAN. WHAT MAKES QUANTUM DIFFERENT?
Non-vegan tattoo and permanent makeup inks may contain “bone char, glycerin from animal fat, gelatin from hooves, or shellac from beetles.” Don;t take our word for it, ask PETA On the other hand, Quantum tattoo inks do not include any animal products. Instead, we use a plant-based sugar alcohol called kosher vegetable glycerine to provide lubrication and hydration to the skin during the application process. The unique viscosity of our formula that makes it perfect for a variety of applications is achieved using just the right amount of vegetable glycerine.
WHY DO YOU USE ETHYL ALCOHOL?
In order to ensure both the safety and the even tone of your permanent cosmetic tattoo, we use ethyl alcohol in our formula. According to a study by Dr. CHO MYUNGSHIN Ethyl alcohol is “one of the most important ingredients” of tattoo or cosmetic ink because “it prevents bacterial contamination of the tattoo ink and distributes pigments in the skin enabling the even appearance of a finished tattoo.”
WHAT OTHER INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE TO CREATE PERMANENT INK WITH THE PERFECT CONSISTENCY?
In addition to using ethyl alcohol, we use distilled water free of any impurities or added minerals as a carrier for our pigments.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING EUCALYPTUS IN YOUR COSMETIC INK?
Eucalyptus doesn’t just smell great, it has other purposes as well. A few of the known BENEFITS OF EUCALYPTUS include antiseptic and antibacterial properties to prevent infection. Research has also shown that eucalyptus may also have pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties.
WAIT, YOU HAVE HERBS IN YOUR PERMANENT MAKEUP SUPPLIES?
Yes! Aside from eucalyptus, our formula also contains thymol. This compound, derived from the herb thyme, has SEVERAL HEALTH BENEFITS. The primary reason that we use it in our formula is that it has antibacterial properties including those that protect against staph infections.
What other plant-based ingredients can be found in your cosmetic pigments?
Menthol, derived from (or mint) plants, is another one of our ingredients you may be familiar with. In addition to its natural fresh scent, menthol also has slight analgesic and cooling properties to make clients more comfortable throughout the process.
